Students will:
Practice facial proportions and features, gaining confidence in sketching expressive human faces and head shapes.
Explore different illustration styles, from realistic to stylized or abstract, using pencil, ink, or color.
Apply shading, line work, and color to reflect mood, identity, or storytelling elements.
Use reference and imagination to build portraits with personality and emotion.
Create a final portrait illustration, integrating both technical skills and individual style.
