STUDIO POLICY

At MZ Studio, we strive to maintain a focused, safe, and welcoming environment where students can fully engage in their creative journey. As a small studio, space is limited, and minimizing distractions allows students to concentrate on their work. Our policies ensure timely scheduling, a clean and organized workspace, and proper use of materials, helping us create a structured, inspiring, and enjoyable space for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation and support!

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures

  • Arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before class and sign in upon arrival.

  • Label personal items to prevent mix-ups.

  • Only authorized individuals may pick up students. If we are unfamiliar with the person picking up, we may request ID.

  • If a student is picked up more than 10 minutes late, additional fees may apply for repeated delays. Please notify us if you are running late.

Parent Guidelines

  • To help students focus, parents/guardians are encouraged to wait outside the classroom or in the designated waiting area.

  • We will provide class updates and are happy to discuss any concerns.

  • If there is an emergency or special situation, please speak with us directly.

Studio Cleanliness & Maintenance

  • Let’s keep the studio clean and organized together! All students are responsible for tidying up their workspace after use.

  • Art supplies and equipment should be handled carefully and returned to their designated places.

  • Report any damaged materials or equipment so we can replace or repair them.

  • Follow safety guidelines when using tools and materials to ensure a safe working environment.

Food & Drinks During Class Time

  • Please bring your own water bottle, as studio storage may be limited.

  • Snacks are not allowed during class time to keep the workspace clean and focused.

  • Students are welcome to have snacks during designated breaks, but they should tidy up their table and dispose of packaging properly.

Proper Use of Art Supplies

  • Art materials are provided for learning and must be used respectfully.

  • Follow instructions for handling, storage, and disposal of materials.

  • Always clean your workspace and return supplies after use.

  • Some materials require safety precautions—please follow instructions and wear protective gear when needed.

  • Report any damaged or missing supplies so we can restock.

Rescheduling & Make-Up Classes

  • If you need to reschedule a class, please inform us at least 24 to 48 hours in advance via message, phone, or email.

  • We’ll do our best to arrange an alternative time; however, frequent rescheduling can affect class flow and group planning.

  • Emergency rescheduling may be accommodated when possible—please notify us as early as you can. Unfortunately, no-shows without notice are not eligible for make-up classes.

  • Typically, one make-up class is allowed per billing cycle (or per set of purchased classes). The make-up must be scheduled within two weeks of the missed class and is subject to availability.

  • Make-up classes cannot be carried over to future sessions or converted into class credits.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 2 business days before the workshop or class cycle starts to qualify for a full or partial refund.

  • Once a class has started, refunds are not guaranteed, but if a student withdraws within the first three sessions, a partial refund may be considered.

  • No refunds for art supplies, registration deposits, or materials already provided.

  • Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days via the original payment method or as studio credit.

  • Emergency cases will be reviewed individually.

  • If the studio cancels a workshop or class, a full refund or rescheduling option will be provided.
